History Blog

This is my history blog for Mr. Boyle's G period class. There you have it. I have been keeping this blog since whenever school kinda started back up again. I don't really know when but it was after marching band started up again. Anyway, I looked back on all of the posts that I have been doing for about half a minute today and realized that all of these are terribly boring. So I think I'll add some fun stuff in.

Post About Classwork (Every Two Cycle Days)

January 4, 2013 and January 7, 2013

On the 4th, We walked into class to another giant picture on the board. We learned about the  54th regiment by first filling out a worksheet about the giant sculpture in Boston (which was the picture on the board) and then just class discussion. We also took notes form a PowerPoint and Watched a clip from "Glory."

On the 5th, we took a lot of notes on Sherman's army. We learned about how he basically decided that he wanted the south to be punished to the point where nobody would ever even think about seceding again. He took on the Scorched Earth Policy and his army even gained the unique nickname of Sherman's Neckties (because they bent bent and destroyed railways beyond repair as they traveled along). We also watched a short video and took our memorization quiz (on the Emancipation Proclamation).

Guess who!

Until next time!
