History Blog

This is my history blog for Mr. Boyle's G period class. There you have it. I have been keeping this blog since whenever school kinda started back up again. I don't really know when but it was after marching band started up again. Anyway, I looked back on all of the posts that I have been doing for about half a minute today and realized that all of these are terribly boring. So I think I'll add some fun stuff in.

Post About Classwork (Every Two Cycle Days)

(Haven't posted on classwork for while due to projects and whatnot.)

November 2, 2012 and November 5, 2012

On the 2nd, we split into groups and each read different parts of stories about slavery. The group I was in got the story about childhood. Each group made their own storyboard that included pictures, a brief summary, a question or two, and a few other things. Then we were handed papers about the upcoming quarter. This included new projects and review sheets. We were also told to think of something to give up or to do for a month.

On the 5th, we looked at eachother's storyboards (ours was the coolest because it was so avant garde) and filled out a Venn Diagram about them. Then we split into new groups after lunch and looked at a specific person from the time. Then we spread out and talked about each person with new groups. We didn't get to finish but learned about some new historical figures.

  1. Is that what you are going with: avant garde?

  2. Obviously! Silly Mr. Boyle--not knowing avant garde when it's staring right at him... (shakes head)
